Kayleigh and Michael! I met with them for the first time last summer in Canmore Alberta for their engagement photos in the beautiful mountains. I really can’t think of a better place to get engagement photos taken. It’s amazing the feeling you get just standing in an open area surrounded by the mountains.

Fast forward approximately 1 year, and it was time for the wedding. I’ll admit I rarely get nervous for a wedding. Like almost never. I know many photographers who are so nervous before a wedding that they are actually through up. I used to have the nerves though, but now shooting a wedding is just custom for me. I am confident that given any lighting condition, weather forecast, that we can create great images. This wedding was a bit different, my wife was storm stayed in New York (thankfully my parents could take the kids for the day), and my amazing assistant fell ill the day before the wedding (thank you Nicole for filling in). To add, Michael is a sports fans version of a celebrity, so you know, the pressure was on lol!

Within a minute of starting the nerves were gone, Michael and his groomsmen were great, and had us laughing all day. Kayleigh could quite possibly be the most easy going bride I have photographed to date. She had no hesitation to get her feet, and that amazing dress a little bit dirty.

The day was awesome and teamed up with some of my favorite local wedding vendors you just knew it was going to turn out amazing…. Jill Landry (brides hair and makeup), Bryan Podworny (DJ/MC extraordinaire), Trident Films, Katrina (Party professionals), The Bloombox, and Well dress cakes by Brett.

Thanks for having us capture your guys, it was so perfect.
