The forecast told us it was going to be a warm one, and it didn’t bring any surprises on this gorgeous wedding day. I “think” it was like +46ish with the humidex on Kirsten and Justin’s wedding day!? It was smokin’ hot to say the least, and a bit hazy in the skies as the smoke from the Alberta/BC wildfires had made their way into Southern Manitoba for the last few weeks.

I started the morning off along side Rhoni and Oscar from Trident films with the guys getting ready. I couldn’t help but laugh as Justin was struggling to get his little guy Jackson all dressed for the big day. It reminded me a bit like myself when my wife isn’t around to help with those things haha!

From there we headed to meet with Kirsten and her ladies who were getting ready in Minnedosa. Once Kirsten was ready and in her gorgeous dress we headed out to do a first look with Justin by the ceremony location, which was nuzzled in the valley just south of Minnedosa.

Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. Kirsten road in on a beautiful horse and carriage which seemed to fit perfectly with their country wedding.

The +46 day flew by, and before we knew it there was champagne popping, and a full dance floor underneath Kirsten and Justin’s big tent in the valley.

Thanks for having me capture your day guys! It was so much fun hanging around and capturing their awesome memories for you!
